CLASS: Cloud Log Assuring Soundness and Secrecy Scheme for Cloud Forensics

ABSTRACT:

Client movement logs can be a significant wellspring of data in cloud legal examinations; consequently, guaranteeing the unwavering quality and respectability of such logs is essential. Most existing answers for secure logging are intended for ordinary frameworks as opposed to the intricacy of a cloud situation. In this paper, we propose the Cloud Log Assuring Soundness and Secrecy (CLASS) process as an elective plan for the anchoring of logs in a cloud domain.

In CLASS, logs are scrambled utilizing the individual client’s open key with the goal that just the client can unscramble the substance. With the end goal to forestall unapproved change of the log, we produce confirmation of past log (PPL) utilizing Rabin’s unique finger impression and Bloom channel. Such a methodology lessens check time altogether. Discoveries from our trials sending CLASS in OpenStack show the utility of CLASS in a true setting.
