The project is designed to develop a robotic vehicle that can sense metals in front of it on its way like sensing landmines. The robot is controlled by a remote android application. Remote activity is accomplished by any smartphone/Tablet and so on., with Android OS, upon a GUI (Graphical User Interface) based touchscreen task.
It comprises a metal detector circuit interfaced to the control unit that alarms the client behind it about a suspected landmine ahead. An 8051 series of a microcontroller is utilized for the desired operation.
At the transmitting end utilizing the android application, commands are sent to the receiver to control the movement of the robot either to move forward, backward and left or right and so forth. At the receiving end, two motors are interfaced to the microcontroller where they are utilized for the movement of the vehicle.
